over the summer
Oravice offers a variety of activities during the summer months, whether you are a sportsman or you have come to relax. For the more active, there are cycling and hiking trails, and thermal springs are available for relaxation.
Cycling
You can take the route Oravice – Tichá dolina (11 km) with the whole family, and for the more demanding we recommend the Blatná dolina cycling route (13 km and back).
Tourism
Destination Oravice is very popular especially for tourists. A short walk from the Hájenka you can go to the Juráňová valley, to the Skorušina lookout tower or go to the Roháč Mountains in Zuberec.

Aquapark
Geothermal water can also be found in the aquapark. In addition, it offers outdoor and indoor pools, a wave pool, a jacuzzi, water slides and a children’s pool.
Skiing
You can enjoy up to 12 km of pistes in the ski park. There is a choice of red slopes for more experienced skiers and blue slopes for beginners.
Cross-country skiing
If you are more of a cross-country skiing fan, there are 35 km of trails, of which 5 km are groomed for skating and classic style, 30 km of trails are ungroomed.

Tourism
In winter, we recommend visiting the Western Tatras (Roháče) – a popular route is to the Ťatliakova hut, which is also suitable for families with children on sledges.
